Dr. Marc Chun is a Program Officer for the William & Flora Hewlett Foundation. Prior to taking on this position, he was for ten years the Director of Education with the Council on Aid to Education where he built an innovative professional development program to guide faculty in creating performance tasks that enable students to practice and develop critical thinking, analytic reasoning, and problem solving skills. Chun earned a Ph.D. in education from Stanford University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in sociology and education at Teachers College, Columbia University. He has three master¹s degrees: one in administration and policy analysis, from Stanford University; a second in education, from the University of California, Los Angeles; and a third in sociology, also from Stanford. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, where he received a bachelor of science degree in Organizational Studies.
